Blue House Books is a small publishing house set up in 2008 and based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The name comes from the nearby Blue House roundabout on the GreatBlue House Books logo North Road. The Blue House (from the former colour of its paintwork) stands on a corner of Newcastle's Town Moor, a large area of common land. For many years horse races were held on the Moor, and the Blue House is close to the final turn on the course, just east of the site of the old grandstand.
